Woah 6/100! I should try and read more classic books!

Birthday Girl(s)

A week before my birthday, my classmate Val approached me and asked me to help her layout an invitation for her niece Mattiya. Little did I know that her niece and I share birthdays! That is January 25.

Val gave me her ideas and that they planned a Lady Bug theme for Mattiya. I got excited when the invitations were printed out and there were little red envelopes to place them in.

Candies!

I took a free online class suggested by Mhel which is available only upon registration and I was lucky enough to enter before the cut-off so I was able to access the page for the tutorial.

The topic was about painting candies using watercolor and some techniques were taught :D

The photo has a reference but I didn’t draw everything and I don’t have a watercolor paper available so I used my extra eggshell paper which does not work with water well.

Here’s my final work :) Yay or nay?
